Lostin70’s has released ToneDeluxe, a free effect plugin for Windows and Mac, designed as a full analog tube amplifier from preamp stage to cabinet.

The ToneDeluxe is designed as a full analog tube amplifier from preamp stage to cabinet. Based on ECC83 and EL34 tubes, its analog time model design allows to reduce the delay of the signal processing and thus give a "pleasure of playing" for guitarists. It offers two independent channels : clean and high gain. The high gain chanel is versatile thanks to the DriveTone setting that cut/boost high frequency before the tone stack.

New version 1.0.1 (improve compatibility with 96 kHz and framelength up to 8192).

discoDSP has released OB-Xd version 1.4, a free synthesizer instrument for Windows, Mac & Linux.

OB-Xd is based on the Oberheim OB-X. It attempts to recreate its sound and behavior, but as the original was very limited in some important ways a number of things were added or altered to the original design.

Changes in OB-Xd v1.4:

- Added bank and skin browser (right click GUI / Command click on Mac).
- Included Japanese manual.
- Included skins from KVR Audio members.
