Thomas Mundt updates free LoudMax to v1.18

Thomas Mundt has updated LoudMax to version 1.18 for Mac OS and Windows. The Winamp version has also been updated.

Changes:

- Improved limiter attack phase calculation. 

- Minor optimizations.

LoudMax is a Look-Ahead Brickwall Loudness Maximizer with a clean transparent sound. It is designed to retain the original character of the music as much as possible even at high compression levels.

LVC-Audio updates Limited-Z to version 1.1.0

LVC-Audio has updated Limited-Z mastering limiter (free version) to version 1.1.0.

The free and paid versions of Limited-Z gets a new limiter mode, "Vintage Bus".

Limited-Z is a specialized and easy-to-use limiter, based on the foundation of being a capable look-ahead brickwall limiter suitable for final mixing or mastering. Limited-Z dynamically combines several unique limiting algorithms to provide transparent limiting on all audio sources.

Limited-Z is a free plugin, with a paid version that adds the following features:

- Selectable secondary metering that includes Input Level, estimated Distortion Level, and ISP meter.

- K-Metering of input and output levels.

- Linear-phase oversampling (2x, 4x, or 8x).

- Continually adjustable output margin control between 0 dB and -1.5 dB, and 0 dB and -10 dB for post-production.

- Adjustable X/Y controls for the Dynamic Algorithm settings for easily fine-tuning the limiter's overall sound and aggressiveness.

Utility is a free, lightweight, universal general purpose all in one digital channel strip plugin offering precise controls over various aspects of an audio signal, from mid/side processing to soft clipping.

Features include:

- input routing with separate pans for the left and right channels, or alternatively a pre mono balance control to decide how the left and right channels are blended for conversion into mono

- gain, and individual left and right channel gains, mutes

- pan and phase inversion of either channel

- width control, along with separate mid and side gain sliders and mutes

- maximally flat minimal phase high and low pass 12db/octave filtering

- optional hard and soft clipping at 0db

- everything is fully automatable with sensible parameter ranges/scaling.
