Medicine Man is a unique hand crafted Tongue Drum recorded by our friend Saša Dukić, best known as PsiloCybian. Saša is a music producer, electrical engineer and a teacher who likes to spend his spare time creating unique virtual instruments.

A dedicated browser interface has been designed for an integrated workflow to use Freesound content with AudioTexture. You can search with filter/sorting criteria and preview right in the browser. The browser displays the most essential information about the sounds and allows double-click to directly load into AudioTexture synthesizer. Hart Instruments releases HISE - Hart Instruments Sampler Engine v2.0

Hart Instruments has released a major new version of Hart Instruments Sampler Engine (HISE), the open source framework for sample based instruments.

Major changes in v2.0:

- New modulation system (faster).
- New cached pool system.
- Preliminary raw API for usage as C++ framework.
- MPE support.
- Full dynamics HLAC (normalises releases trails of 24-bit samples to use the full bit-depth).
- Tons of bug fixes, small features.

HISE is a cross-platform open source audio application for building virtual instruments.

HISE emphasizes on sampling, but includes some basic synthesis features for making hybrid instruments. You can build patches, design a custom interface and compile them as a VST / AU plug-in or iOS app.

HISE is available as Standalone application or as VST / AU plugin for Mac OS X and Windows.
