Tek’it Audio releases RECsoprano 2 free soprano recorder instrument

Tek'it Audio has released RECsoprano 2, a free soprano recorder instrument plugin.

RECSoprano 2 comes with a new UI and new features. It is based on original samples of a soprano recorder sampled by Mihai Sorohan. The instrument features traditional tuning, envelope control, velocity parameters, polyphonic voices, reverb, and fingerings display while playing.

Previously available for Windows only, version 2.0 brings the plugin to Mac OS (AU) and also includes 64-bit support for the Windows version with VST2/VST3 plugin formats.

RECsoprano is a free soprano recorder plug-in instrument for Windows and macOS. Adding a selection of traditional tuning, envelope control, polyphonic voices and reverb to a recorder sampled by Mihai Sorohan.

Trackbout releases Ripchord 2.3.0 free VST chord generator

Trackbout has updated Ripchord to version v2.3.0 with the following changes.

New features:

- A new "duplicate current preset" button in the main menu.

- You can now see the version you're on in the main menu.

Bug Fixes:

- Fixed an occasional bug when using the "strum" knob.

- Fixed an occasional bug when using the "randomize" knob.

Ripchord is a free VST for creating and remixing chord progressions. It lets you easily map multiple output notes to a given input note so that you can create your own custom chord mappings, and then experiment with the order and the rhythm of the chords by simply playing one note at time.
The latest version of Ripchord ships with presets from multi-platinum producer Gravez, and you can also download free presets from the community.

Marco Belloni has announced the release of Quarantine Piano, a free virtual instrument for Kontakt based on a Yamaha U3 piano.

The Yamaha U3 was sampled with two Aston Starlights in vintage mode and a Rode NT2000. Marco says this is not just a piano, but rather a toolkit offering 5 versions of the piano (both normal and felt) and other sound-designed goodies that can possibly let you create full tracks with this library alone.
