The voice behind It Must Have Been Love had suffered from health problems after undergoing radiation treatment for a brain tumour.

Marie Fredriksson, who as the singer of Roxette was one of the most recognisable voices in 1980s and 90s pop, has died aged 61 following a long illness.
Her family said in a statement to Expressen, a newspaper in her native Sweden: “It is with great sadness that we have to announce that one of our biggest and most beloved artists is gone.”
In September 2002, Fredriksson had a seizure in her bathroom and suffered a cracked skull. A subsequent MRI scan revealed she had a brain tumour, and she was given a 25% chance of survival. She survived, but had health problems as a result of radiation therapy. She was able to perform until 2016, when she announced her retirement due to the effects of her illness.
Her partner in Roxette, Per Gessle, expressed his love for Fredriksson and her family, and said: “Things will never be the same.”

MV's Plugins has released La Voz Cantante 6B. La Voz Cantante is a 1024-band high-fidelity vocoder that facilitates natural and clean sounding choirs or even solo vocals.
Version 6B is a major update to the previous version 1.3, delivering a 1024 band spectral resolution and a completely reworked sibilant processing.
This is a 1024 channel vocoder. The modulator input - usually a sung or simpjy spoken voice - is analyzed with respect to its spectral content, which is then applied to the other sound source - the carrier. The latter may be any externally supplied signal ranging from pink noise, synth pads, guitar or even drums. Alternatively, there is an internal, MIDI driven synth which is optimized for best speech reproduction fidelity. You can blend the high frequencies with noise for more natural sounding plosives and fricatives. Threre is also a noise gate, a compressor and a stereo reverb on board.

The instrument comes with multiple mic positions (close, room and soundboard) and an easy to use, intuitive interface.
Our Upright Felt Piano is born from a mission to find and sample a piano filled with interesting and natural character. Using some classic vintage microphones through the highest quality signal path, we created a Kontakt instrument that is perfect for intimate, alternative film scores.
We custom felted the strings to take out the top end but not any of its unique character. What we were left with is a beautiful, warm and intimate sound.
