MYR Zenith features a complete mastering chain in one window. Twelve modules sit in the order a mastering engineer would build them: utility with mono bass, a mid/side EQ with
cuts up to 96 dB per octave, resonance clean-up, harshness control, an opto leveler modeled on a T4 cell, an 8-band multiband for mid and side separately, low end shaping, bus glue, brilliance, saturation, a stereo imager, and a true-peak limiter with soft clip and dither.

The loudness panel comes with LUFS integrated, LRA, true peak, PSR and PLR, with targets for Spotify, Apple, YouTube and Tidal.
Pick a target, play the loudest part of the track, press LEARN, and ZENITH sets the limiter so the target is met at -1 dBTP. A streaming preview lets you hear what each platform will turn the master down by, and MATCH level-matches the master to the mix so an A/B tells you about tone instead of loudness.
MYR Titan is a 24-band equalizer, and any of the bands can turn dynamic, so a band only moves when its own frequency range actually gets too loud. Slopes from 6 to 96 dB per octave, each band on stereo, left, right, mid or side, and three phase modes including a matched analogue curve that costs no latency at all.

Every frequency read-out also names the note and cents, and LINK — put TITAN on the kick and on the bass, and each instance shows the other track’s spectrum, marks where they collide, and can duck one only while the other plays.

It has been three and a half years since the last TugMultiEffect update. Version 2.0 is the biggest change since the plugin came out: it is rebuilt around the graph, with five new effects, modulation, a sidechain input and a new look. It is a free update for everyone.

Full Bucket Music has released an update to its recent virtual instrument that is designed to emulate the Kawai K3/K3m synthesizer from 1986.
Version 1.1.0 of FB3 comes with new presets and various improvements and fixes.
The K3 was Kawai’s first “hybrid” synthesizer: A digital sound generation module combined with analog filters and amplifiers. Korg had released similar machines, the DW-6000 and the DW-8000. PPG pursued the same approach with their famous Wave series, while featuring a much more sophisticated (and expensive) way of sound generation, the groundbreaking Wave-Table Synthesis. And there are many, many more to follow (Ensoniq ESQ-1, Sequential Prophet VS, to name a few…)

CB Sounddesign has introduced a collection of 32 audio and MIDI tools that run entirely in a web browser, allowing users to build a sampled instrument or play their hardware synth in a browser tab.
Drop a folder of samples on one and get back a finished, playable instrument. Open another and it sends MIDI to the synth on your desk. All 32 are free, with no account and no trial period, and no audio ever leaves the machine it was opened on.
Much of the collection started in one person’s studio. Christian Bartrow, a sound designer and TV post-production producer who has worked in audio for more than 14 years, wrote many of the tools as Python scripts for his own sessions, then rebuilt them for the browser so they could be shared. Others, including the generative sequencers, were made for the site from the start.
Sampling, without the XML
Eight of the tools form a workbench for DecentSampler, the free sampler plugin. Between them they take a folder of recordings all the way to a finished instrument: mapping the samples by reading pitch, velocity layers and round robins out of the filenames, laying out the front panel visually, generating the knob and slider graphics, checking the mapping for gaps, and comparing two presets to see what changed.

The format is XML, and building an instrument by hand means writing it. These tools mean not writing it — in a browser tab, on any machine, with the samples staying on the user’s own drive.
Sequencers that talk to real hardware
Ten generative sequencers send MIDI straight out of the browser to hardware synths or to a DAW, using the Web MIDI API. They are driven by cellular automata, flow fields, a slime-mould simulation, pendulum curves, physics and layered geological data — patterns that come from somewhere other than a grid and a mouse.
A game that plays your synth.
One of them is a game. CB Ricochet is the classic brick-breaking arcade game, rebuilt as a sequencer: every brick the ball knocks out sends a note from a chosen scale, and the paddle, walls and ceiling play the drums — out to whatever is connected, a hardware synth, a drum machine, a DAW.
Left on autopilot, the paddle mis-hits and misses on its own, and the pattern grows out of that. Take the paddle with the mouse and whoever is playing the game is playing the track. It works as a game on its own, too: with nothing connected and the sound off, it is still hard to put down.
Alongside the sequencers are synthesizers that make sound in the browser, including a dual-oscillator synth and a generative ambient engine that renders directly to WAV.
The unglamorous half
The rest is the work nobody writes about: capturing impulse responses from hardware by sine-sweep deconvolution, batch-converting WAVs for the strict file formats of hardware samplers, watching MIDI traffic message by message, verifying that every knob on a controller sends what it should, and archiving SysEx patch dumps.
There are also editors for three rack and pedal units — a Boss SDE-3000D, a JoMoX Mod FM and a Behringer BM-18M — which put every parameter on one page instead of behind a small display and a handful of buttons. More are in progress, including several units whose original editor software no longer runs on any current operating system.
Everything runs client-side. The MIDI tools need a browser with Web MIDI support — Chrome, Edge, Brave, or Firefox after a one-time permission prompt. Nothing is uploaded to a server at any point.
The 32 tools on the site are free and stay free. An optional supporter pack on itch.io bundles offline copies of every tool, three tools that are not on the site, 25 impulse responses recorded from hardware, and additional datasets; it funds the hosting, and nothing on the public site is reduced to make room for it.

Jeesonic has announced an update to its 24-band equalizer effect plugin for Windows and macOS (VST3/AU).
Version 1.2 of EQ Pro comes with various improvements and fixes.
EQ Pro is a transparent, surgical equalizer with up to 24 freely typed bands over an interactive curve, a real-time spectrum analyzer, per-band dynamics, Mid/Side and Left/Right processing, and selectable phase behaviour. No analog colouring: it does exactly what the curve shows.

Spectrum landmarks: Indicators that mark the frequencies that keep standing out over time, not the momentary peaks. Click one to see its frequency and note and hear that spot. Double-click drops a band right there. It never decides anything for you, it just gives you a place to look.
Analyzer tilt and decay: The display now reads the way you want it to.
Preset browser: Factory templates plus your own presets, right in the header.
A/B compare: Hold two versions of your settings and flip between them.
Stepless scaling: The VST3 now scales the whole UI continuously from 75 to 200 %, not in fixed steps, remembered with your project. The Audio Unit keeps fixed steps.
Gentler auto-dynamics: Bands level in proportion to their range instead of hard-limiting.
More musical shelf Q: No jump to extreme peaks after a small turn.
Cleaner top end: High bells and shelves stay true near the top of the range instead of narrowing, and a new Natural Phase mode adds the analog phase response.

If you have hundreds of .nams and IRs with names that tell you nothing, you know the problem: the tone you want is in there somewhere, but finding it means loading model after model and listening. RigSuite fixes that. It is two free Windows programs that work as a pair. RigScope listens to your neural amp models, cabinets, and reverbs, measures what they actually do, and writes it into the files. RigSculpt plays them and reads that same analysis back, so the rig already knows how a model sounds the moment you load it. One less thing between you and your sound, and free to use even in the music you sell.
RigScope: know the rig
Point it at a folder and it listens to each file, measures it, and says it in plain English. A library you could not read by name, you can now read by sound.
Amp Bench: sorts your neural amp models into six gain-tier archetypes, each split into finer sub-flavors, writes a short overview of each, and finds the ones that sound alike.
Cab Bench: fingerprints cabinet impulse responses and reshapes them without loss, with EQ, a voicing borrowed from another cab, or a blend of mic layers.
Reverb Bench: measures, sculpts, and builds convolution-reverb impulses from scratch.
RigSculpt: play the rig
Not a single-model player. It is a full rig built around neural amp models, running two independent amp-and-cab paths, mono or true stereo with one-click balancing, each with its own input calibration, EQ, and pan.
In front, a pickup-voicing model and a tuner. After the amp, an eight-band output EQ and a Character tone control.
A full pedalboard on board: a three-voice drive, a four-voice compressor, a chorus, a vibe, five delay modes, and six reverbs (five original engines plus convolution).
Analysis-aware: it reads what RigScope wrote into your files to match one amp's response to another, voice its effects to the rig, and lay your library out by how the models actually sound.
How they work together
RigScope writes its measurements straight into your .nam and .wav files. RigSculpt reads them back, so nothing is locked away in a database. The knowledge travels with the files, and any tool that can read them, a language model included, can pick it up. Measure once, and the library stays navigable everywhere.

Why it is free:
I want to be transparent that I used modern development tools, including AI, to handle a lot of the demanding engineering work that would otherwise require a much larger team and a longer chain of handoffs. This still cost me money. I also still spent hundreds of hours on it, and every design, musical, and technical decision here is mine -- these tools just let me keep those decisions closely connected and keep refining each part until it reaches the sound and experience I have in mind. I understand AI use is a potentially sensitive issue, so I'll say it plainly: anything I build this way will always be free, and scoped to be a tool for public benefit.
RigSuite stands on the Neural Amp Modeler ecosystem, the open project created by Steve Atkinson, and giving these away is a way of paying that forward. The tools got built because sorting a big library by ear is slow, tedious work, and once they were good enough to fix that, giving them away was simpler than selling them. No account, nothing held back for a paid tier. Support here on Ko-fi is welcome, never required.

A note on the Windows warning
When you run the installer, Windows may say the app is from an unknown publisher, or SmartScreen may show "Windows protected your PC." That is expected, and it is not a virus warning. It only means the software is not code-signed. Code signing requires paying for a developer certificate every year so Windows trusts the publisher by name, and I do not pay for one. This is freeware I built to give back to a community I benefited from, not something I am trying to profit from, so an annual fee for a certificate does not make sense here.
