BlepFX crunchrr
BlepFX has announced the release of a simple to use effect that adds digital artifacts to your sounds.
It works by modulating a small fractional delay line at an audio rate at high frequency, resulting in a bit crush/sample divide/erosion kind of effect.
crunchrr features:
Digital Crunch: Add subtle digital bitcrush-like distortion to your sounds or turn them into a complete noisy mess.
Modulator Types: Choose from a variety of modulator types (noise, bandpassed noise, sine, square, triangle, saw) with a wide range of frequencies, from 0.1 Hz up to 22 kHz.
Stereo Width: crunchrr can create subtle stereo widening by offsetting the phases of the modulators for left and right channels, or you can make the modulators mono if you’d like.
Simple to Use: With just 5 parameters, crunchrr is extremely intuitive and simple to use.
CPU Friendly: crunchrr uses extremely optimized algorithms and therefore it is very light on your CPU.
Minimal UI: Cute digital visualizer. Easy to navigate interface. Dark & light modes. Freely resizable.
crunchrr for Windows, Mac and Linux (VST3, AU and CLAP) is available as a “pay what you like” download, including free.
