DDMF releases Transport7th of April, 2016: a new freeware plugin has been released. Enter Transport, a valuable little tool that lets you view your DAW’s transport information (measure, BPM, ppq, time and sample position) in a dedicated plugin. The interface is freely resizable, and the colours can be chosen as well. Your recording artists will never miss their cue again! Transport is available in VST, RTAS, AAX and AU (for OSX) format, and in both 32 and 64 bit. And yes, you can indeed download it in the freeware section on this very site. HOFA-Plugins releases 4U+ DynamicTiltEQ Tilt EQ plug-in

HOFA-Plugins has released HOFA 4U+ DynamicTiltEQ, a new Tilt EQ plug-in that can do everything the legendary analogue models could: Use just one knob for the perfect balancing of low and high frequencies on the highest audio level.

The freeware version includes:

• Gain/cut up to 24 dB.
• Variable tilt width for transparent adjustments as well as musical sound shaping.
• Bass and treble tilt can be split.
• Low- and high-cut filter (6 & 12 dB/octave).
• Individual routing for stereo, mid, side left and right processing.
• Up to 32x oversampling.
• Support for Mac and PC, 32- and 64-bit DAWs.

4U+ DynamicTiltEQ is a freeware plugin with additional features which can be used after an upgrade has been purchased.

The upgrade will add the dynamics and the analyzer. All other features are also available without an upgrade license.

The tilt EQ including low-cut and high-cut are also available in the freeware without restrictions.

ColourEQ

Not just another EQ: with its custom-made 4th order IIR filter, ColourEQ sounds unlike any other EQ you have ever come across. It comes with five bands of \”super parametric\” peaking filters, which means that there is one more parameter in addition to the traditional gain/width/frequency set that can influence the curve shape. 32/64 bit.

IIEQ

The IIEQ is a free, fully parametric 10-band equalizer with its own, characteristic sound and low CPU consumption. The 1st and the 10th band are low and high shelf filters, respectively; all other bands are peak filters. Individual bands can be switched on and off (click on the small green buttons!).

It is available for Windows (32/64 bit) and Mac (32 bit). Alternative GUIs are available for Windows 32bit only.

Bass synth SH-it Bass (Free Roland SH-101 ROMpler AU & VST) released by VST4FREE.

SH-it Bass is a sampled bass sound from the Roland SH-101 synthesizer.

25 notes were carefully tuned and recorded from 3 layers for a total of 55 samples. You can make your own sound by mixing between the main oscillator (osc 1+2 from the SH-101), the sub oscillator and the noise generator.

Noizefield and Swedish developers JB and CPS has released Exotic, a new free subtractive synthesizer plugin created with SynthMaker, available for Windows (VST format) based music software.

Exotic free synth plugin includes many features similar to other plugins launched by Noizefield such as VACS, 4Tune and Club Voltage, but the sound is different. This plugin was created and thought for modern big room house music producers.

Exotic features 2 oscillators, 2 LFOs, 3 effects (Chorus, Reverb and Decimator (Distortion)) and one filter section with 3 different filter modes (LP, HP, BP). Also, you will find a couple of modulation envelopes and a “Fatner” that can be used to create more wide and fat sounds.

Exotic free synth can be used by any EDM, House music producer who want to try new sounds without spending any money on a new virtual synthesizer. Although this plugin may appear to have some limitations (only 32-bit VST), it’s free and comes with a great collection of presets with some pretty good sounds ready to inspire your electronic music productions.

Exotic can be downloaded for free from Noizefield website, no registration or subscription is required. Simply press the “Download” button and download Exotic synth on your computer. Use WinRar or WinZip to extract the Zip file and then locate your VST folder and copy/paste (extract) the DLL file there.
