"After nearly 20 years BiFilter has become vintage and even though it's no longer profitable to remain a commercial product, we feel that more people should deserve an opportunity to enjoy this useful tool. That's why we decided to release one last update and turn it into freeware. BiFilter is now available for free and you are allowed to share it with your friends. We want to say a big THANK YOU to all customers who support the development of our products, by purchasing our software! Enjoy!"
Haze is a silky smooth chorus and phase effect. Blending rich chorus, dreamy phasing, and lush algorithmic reverbs with a unique spectral dispersion engine, Haze transforms any sound into a shimmering, wide, and atmospheric texture. Whether you’re adding gentle stereo movement or dialing up the feedback for swirling, resonant soundscapes, Haze brings an ethereal dimension to your mix.
Features:
Diffusion Network
Build your reverb with three intuitive controls. Decay controls how long the reverb lingers—ranging from short, snappy reflections to deep, atmospheric tails. Density shapes the texture of the space, from sparse and airy to rich, layered clouds of sound. Spread adjusts the stereo width and smooths out resonances in the space, narrowing the image for focus or expanding it for a wide, immersive soundstage.
Curated Motion
Shape the character and movement of the reverb. Scale sets the size and tone—from tight metallic textures to vast, open spaces—while Motion introduces rich modulation and delay, warping the signal with tape-like flutter and evolving harmonics.
Spectral Dispersion
For an even denser, dreamier sound, activate the Smear filter. Use Frequency to tune its center point and Q to boost resonance for added intensity and texture.

A collection of retro/synthwave sounds inspired by modern sci-fi classics.
The story
Inspired by soundtracks of modern sci-fi classics, this collection of synths evokes the nostalgic feel of 80’s sci-fi movies with a modern cinematic sound.
I had been wanting to make my own instruments for some time, but I can’t afford a Kontakt licence so when I found Decent Sampler was a thing. I began learning how to make presets for it, and this is the result. A collection of 15 Synthwave/Retrowave presets with a cinematic touch.
I designed the sounds in Vital and Surge XT and layer them, then process them through different effects.
Each preset has control for Reverb, Delay, Chorus (Which honestly for me sounds more like tape detuning) and Cutoff.

***As I am a Cakewalk user, I tried to mix in Cakewalk using Cakewalk Sonar's ProChannel and open the same project in Cakewalk to compare. My first impressions are that Cakewalk Sonar is much better optimized and the difference in processing is quite evident.

These are my favorite drums in a small kit setup, recorded with my favorite microphones, going through my favorite outboard. I’ve recorded a 4-piece kit with five cymbals. The final results make me smile every time I hear them!
I've also included more than fifty MIDI files I recorded while creating the presets. Use them as the backbone of your song or as a jumping-off point to edit into your next drumming masterpiece!
No additional processing. Everything you hear is built into Decent Sampler.
