Push is a subtractive synth with a huge amount of randomness. Parametrized with a sound-design logic to get the most of the results to be usable as a patch. All of the randomized parameters are accessible via the "Edit Current" button.

You can use the patches as they are once you press the push button, or you can use the initial patch as inspiration to tweak each sound into a new and refined one.

Resulting patches and banks can be exported and shared without limits. Just click on "Open/Save" then "More" and "Export Bank" to get a shareable file.

Vember Audio updates Surge to v1.6.4 free plugin synth

Vember Audio has updated Surge to version 1.6.4. This update has several MPE and effect changes, new content and some small cleanups.

Synth Sound and Behavior:

- Release velocity is now an available modulation source. See more details here.

- Sustain Pedal in MPE mode was mis-mapped to the wrong channel, leading to it not working in MPE note-per-channel configurations.

- The "Drive" feature in the distortion effect is extendible.

New Content:

- A set of MPE patches for the Linnstrument provided by Roger Linn. Here's a video of Roger demonstrating them:

- Producer Damon Armani contributed a set of EDM & Dubstep Wavetables and Patches to the 3rd party library.

Other smaller changes:

- Mouse button shows value of integer and boolean sliders.

MV's Plugins has released La Voz Cantante 6B. La Voz Cantante is a 1024-band high-fidelity vocoder that facilitates natural and clean sounding choirs or even solo vocals.

Version 6B is a major update to the previous version 1.3, delivering a 1024 band spectral resolution and a completely reworked sibilant processing.

This is a 1024 channel vocoder. The modulator input - usually a sung or simpjy spoken voice - is analyzed with respect to its spectral content, which is then applied to the other sound source - the carrier. The latter may be any externally supplied signal ranging from pink noise, synth pads, guitar or even drums. Alternatively, there is an internal, MIDI driven synth which is optimized for best speech reproduction fidelity. You can blend the high frequencies with noise for more natural sounding plosives and fricatives. Threre is also a noise gate, a compressor and a stereo reverb on board.
