Sound Magic lança o plugin Piano One, um VST plugin de piano acústico baseado no som do Yamaha C7 e que tem uma qualidade muito boa para um VST grátis. Como se percebe pela imagem o plugin possuí uma interface muito simples mas com os controles mais usuais, e que permitem controlar desde o reverb, sustain, a afinação, e também não menos importante o controle da "tampa" do piano. Vale a pena experimentar e usar este plugin que merece honras de 1.ª página.

Sound Magic has released Piano One, a free piano VST plugin (Mac version is also planned) based on the Yamaha C7 concert grand piano.

The Sound of Piano One comes from the Yamaha C7 concert grand, a true workhorse in the professional piano world, appearing on famous concert stages, in international competitions and in prestigious music events throughout the world.

By utilizing the Sound Magic Hybrid Modeling Engine, Piano One offers both the Realistic Sound of Sampling and the Playability of Modeling. Hybrid Modeling provides an instantaneous feeling – no delay – and a truer and richer sound than canbe created with either sampling or modeling alone. What’s more, Piano One utilizes only 150MB, which is quite a small footprint, making Piano One usable even on older PCs. There is no waiting time when loading and the CPU usage is so small that it’s virtually unnoticeable.

Changes since version 2.10:

• Support multiple sample rates concurrently - for as long as they are physically derived from a common master clock, are integer multiples of each other (except 44.1/48kHz special case), etc...

• Support a number of sample rates on the ASIO side that the audio device does not physically support. Basically, this means an extension to the on-the-fly rate conversion capabilities.

• Fix a regression introduced in 2.10 related to input device aggregation

• Minor stuff, as usual...
