Noizefield Exotic Synthesizer VSTi Plugin WiN

Noizefield Exotic Synthesizer VSTi Plugin WiN
FREE Dec 17 2015 | 2.1 MB
Noizefield and Swedish developers JB and CPS has released Exotic, a new free subtractive synthesizer plugin created with SynthMaker, available for Windows (VST format) based music software.

Exotic free synth plugin includes many features similar to other plugins launched by Noizefield such as VACS, 4Tune and Club Voltage, but the sound is different. This plugin was created and thought for modern big room house music producers.

Exotic features 2 oscillators, 2 LFOs, 3 effects (Chorus, Reverb and Decimator (Distortion)) and one filter section with 3 different filter modes (LP, HP, BP). Also, you will find a couple of modulation envelopes and a “Fatner” that can be used to create more wide and fat sounds.

Exotic free synth can be used by any EDM, House music producer who want to try new sounds without spending any money on a new virtual synthesizer. Although this plugin may appear to have some limitations (only 32-bit VST), it’s free and comes with a great collection of presets with some pretty good sounds ready to inspire your electronic music productions.

Exotic can be downloaded for free from Noizefield website, no registration or subscription is required. Simply press the “Download” button and download Exotic synth on your computer. Use WinRar or WinZip to extract the Zip file and then locate your VST folder and copy/paste (extract) the DLL file there.

HoRNet releases Guitar Kit amp, cabinet & mic emulation plugin

HoRNet has announced the release of Guitar Kit, a complete guitar sound solution that includes and amplifier, cabinet and microphone emulation.

Hornet Guitar Kit

Guitar Kit uses physical models to build many type of sounds letting you choose the tubes for each section of the amplifier, the cabinet speaker, cabinet type, microphone type and placement.

Each of the thee modules of Guitar Kit can be turned on and off separately so you can create different sounds from the typical guitar sound and also use the cabinet or microphone emulation on different sources.

Guitar Kit works in real time without any latency and can be used in a live situation thanks to its low CPU usage even with “high quality” mode enabled (high quality oversampled the processing 8x).

Guitar Kit features:

  • Each module can be turned on or off individually.
  • Amplifier simulation made by three tube stage (high gain, preamp, power amp).
  • Tubes can be chosen between 6 different models for preamp and 6 models for power amp.
  • Tone stack section can be chosen between three models or turned off.
  • Amp module can work in standard (4x oversampling) or high quality mode (8x oversampling).
  • Cabinet can be chosen between open or closed.
  • Speaker model can be chosen between4 different models.
  • Cabinet resonance is modeled on the specific speaker chosen.
  • Microphone model can be chosen between 4 different models.
  • Microphone distance from speaker can be freely adjusted.
  • Microphone position on the speaker axis can be freely adjusted.
  • Frequency response based on microphone position ant type is faithfully modeled.
  • Mac OS X (>=10.5 intel only) and Windows support.
  • 64-bit compatibility both on Mac and Windows.
  • Audio Units, VST, VST3, RTAS and AAX format.

Guitar Kit is available for purchase for 31.99 EUR.

HoRNet CompExp v1.0 FREE

HoRNet CompExp is a compressor expander based on the design of a commander chip designed for telephone lines and used in many electronic devices to reduce the noise.

The chip works with a fixed threshold (in our case is internally set to -18dBFS) when the “amount” knob is at a value greater than 1 the gain is increased by the specified factor if the signal is below the threshold, and decreased if above. If the chip is set to work as an expander, the contrary happens, the gain is increased if above the threshold and decreased if below.

The system is designed this way to permit dynamic compression on telephone lines and compressor and expander are used together in this configuration, but we found that these models sounds interesting by themselves.

The model of this chip is implemented in the HoRNet HDD1 where is used to keep the noise down in the delay feedback loop.

Internally the gain is compensated so that the output is always kept to around -18dB RMS

Features:

  • Compression and expansion
  • Fixed ratio and gain compensation
  • Attack and release times
  • Mac OS X (>=10.5 Intel only) and Windows support.
  • 64-bit compatibility both on Mac and Windows.
  • Audio Units VST2.4, VST3, RTAS and AAX format.
