Kilohearts has released 3-Band EQ, a free Snapin plugin for Windows and Mac.

The simple but effective EQ has low, mid and high bands, and spectrum split lines to set thresholds for low and high frequency ranges. If you need a more advanced equalizer, make sure to check out Kilohearts Carve EQ and Slice EQ as well.

Kilohearts’ filters are always awesome, and stacking them together to create a quick 3-band EQ just made them even easier to use.

EQ 3-band will get you surprisingly far when it comes to shaping your sound, or your entire song. By draging the split frequencies around it feels like much more than a standard 3-band equalizer.

The 3-Band EQ is a free download (VST/AU/AAX) and you can also use it as part of Snap Heap and Multipass Snapin hosts.

Make Some Music Now - One Track Orhestra 32/64bit Win [FREE]

 

This instrument puts a complete orchestra on a single track of your DAW (so you don't need to create additional tracks). You can add strings, brass, woodwinds and even percussion at the same time, using only one MIDI channel.

The sounds of the different instruments are mapped on different sections of the keyboard, and they are velocity dependent. The only controls on the GUI are the reverb and volume faders.

This is a free sketching tool, created for songwriting/demo recording, and oriented towards beginners and songwriters who need a simple and fast tool, so it does not include multiple articulations or round robin samples. It is not supposed to be an alternative to big, professional sampled instruments and libraries.

The instrument is provided as-is, with no warranties. 32-bit and 64-bit versions are available. It should work fine on most DAWs. It has beed developed and tested on a Windows 10 PC and it worked fine with Reaper, Tracktion, Studio One, Podium, MuLab and SAVIHost.

This virtual instrument was designed by Luis Valoyes using samples from the VSCO Community Edition. The plugin is powered by Maize Sampler.

This is a simple and free VSTi plugin created to let you add some drums to your productions.
The plugin comes with a single drumkit, and it uses the standard GM mapping, so most of the existing MIDI drum loops that you can find online will work fine with it.

The instrument has separate volume faders for the different parts of the kit (snare, kick, hat, cymbals and toms), a general volume knob and a general reverb knob.
